Government Approval leads to improved Real Estate Training Options in Victoria

It was announced in the Victorian Government Gazette (today, 28 October) that approval has been granted for BPG Training (Victoria) to deliver the Property Services training programs for Agent’s Representatives and Licenced Agents.

As a result of this announcement, BPG Training is the only private Victorian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that has approval to deliver the Real Estate Licence Program.  Other approved providers are TAFE, the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV), and other Interstate Training companies.

This is not only a great achievement for BPG Training, but also provides a wonderful outcome for the Real Estate industry as well.  Previously, there has been a “near” monopoly in training options in Victoria for Real Estate Agents, and the increased competition is sure to lead to better training outcomes and further reduced costs for Agents wishing to complete their licence qualification.

BPG’s approach to delivery of the Real Estate Licence program and other Real Estate Courses has many advantages for Real Estate Agents, particularly those who already have a great deal of experience in working in the industry.  BPG has developed a course framework which allows Agents to be recognised for their current competencies and this is supplemented with appropriate course materials and assessments.  This recognition of personal skill and competency means that the individual can save both time and money in obtaining their full Real Estate Licence.”

The Real Estate Licence Training program delivered by BPG Training is compliant with National Standards and the Australian Quality Training Framework Requirements, and is available now.  A formal press release has been issued today – for more details visit
