Stronger rules for advertising property prices

Stronger rules for advertising property prices are on the cards for Victorian agents, to assist purchasers from being potentially mislead.
This story from the Herald Sun is an example of how easy it is for an advertisment to be regarded as misleading. The REIV have indicated their support for stopping 'price plus' advertising. The Minister proposes to introduce additional rules and regulations for Victorian agents (if re-elected).
It’s important for agents be across these proposed changes and be able to address the concerns of their clients, and demonstrate that they have clear strategies in place to ensure the “best interests” of their clients are achieved.
