What is Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)?

Once the domain for technical and trade training, the VET system today caters to other communications and service industries (like Real Estate), where there is a need within the industry for flexibility in both scope and delivery in the provision of training.

An important part of the VET system in Australia is the concept of Recognition of Prior Learning (or RPL).  This system recognises prior learning gained from specific work or life experience.

If you have been in the Real Estate Industry for some time, the advantage is that you can be recognised for units of study (ie gain exemptions from particular units) if you have the portfolio of evidence to prove to the RTO that you are already competent in that particular subject/or module.

If you are looking to obtain your Real Estate Licence this year, this can greatly work to your advantage.  Once we have assessed your previous experience we have the flexibility to deliver to you only the units that you need.  This could be either by distance – where you work at your own pace, or in the classroom.  You may even be eligible for our Experienced Agent Licence Program.  This is an accelerated program that usually only takes a week.

If you are looking to gain a Real Estate Licence this year, make sure you check out these flexible options!
