Time to kill of Real Estate Cliches?

Read a really interesting post on Business2’s blog the other day about the use of cliches ads….particularly as they relate to the increased use of video in property listings.  Brett Clements says:

When dealing with a medium as relatively new to real estate as ‘video’, its application demands a big re-think around dialogue. Voice-Overs. And presentation to camera.

You see. Viewers ‘can see’ it is a kitchen.

When you are dealing with the “written word” its really easy to go overboard on the cliches and descriptive phrases.  But more and more writing “experts” are saying that if you cant say what you have written out loud and have it sound natural, then you need to rethink your words.  Believe me, this would take a lot of cliches out of the Real Estate vernacular.
